Man Dead Set was formed in 2018 initially as a side project. Hailing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia the music can be categorized as a combination of fast and groovy, full of angst, punk rock-ish and hardcore (old or new school and everything in between). The songs were based on band members’ common interest in music perspective influenced by many earlier bands such as Descendents, Circle Jerks, Kid Dynamite, Paint it Black, Vitamin X to name a few. The band’s debut record consists of 10 compact, short, fast and groovy tracks. The band plans to tour soon to promote the record.
